Krysta`s interest for hair styling first began during her teen aged years, with an obsession with fashion, and hair. She went to school at VIU for Hairdressing, graduating in 2011. After school, Krysta worked as a model, with opportunities in Cannes, France and Montreal, and Vancouver. Although she loved modeling, she knew her love for creating beautiful hair was her catalyst into the future.

 

Krysta has been a hairstylist for 9 great years, and spent all those 9 years previously working at Maffeo Salon. This is her first time venturing on her own business pursuits. She is excited to provide her clients the same great services they've come to love, while working in a new space that provides her with more freedom. 

Some of Krysta's favorite services are highlights and lowlights, and loves to work with curly hair! (She is Deva Curl certified!) She is excited to grow and learn as a hairstylist, but also as a business woman too. Her goals for the future are to expand her colour knowledge and to help everyone to realize their hair's full potential!

 

Outside of work, Krysta enjoys reading. She`s obsessed with magic and fantasy, and female heroines who create their own destiny. Or you might find her hanging with her collie Midas, going for walks around the city, and finding new trails to have outdoor adventures on!
